Patricia and Robert Malcolmson are social historians who have edited several diaries for publication. Their most recent edited diaries are A Shop Assistant in Wartime: The Dewsbury Diary of Kathleen Hey, 1941-1945 (Yorkshire Archaeological and Historical Society, 2018), A Vicar's Wife of Oxford, 1938-1943: The Diary of Madge Martin (Oxfordshire Record Society, 2018) and A Nurse’s War: A Diary of Hope and Heartache on the Home Front (2022).
Their authored books include Women at the Ready: The Remarkable Story of the Women’s Voluntary Services on the Home Front (2013) and Wartime Cumbria, 1939-1945: Aspects of Life and Work (2017).
